World Book Day
Thursday March 6, 2008
World Book Day has come again and today my daughter and her school friends continued their annual tradition of dressing as characters from their favourite books. This year she opted to get together with a friend and dress as the twins from Jacqueline Wilson’s Double Act. I thought this was an inspired choice, perhaps better than the endless wizards trooping out of the school gates this afternoon.

She was the one on the left. Or possibly the one on the right.
Well it’s not that difficult to tell which your daughter was. When she left for school, did she have a red background or a yellow one?

She was probably the scruffier one, which might reflect on my parenting.
